Bead Table Wednesday

This all started with  a free pattern from Bead & Button...  I thought that the Peyote rivets were really neat so tracked down the 2 hole black bakelight connectors....
They come from A Grain of Sand, beware!, there are lots of neat things there!
The original bracelet is all bakelight components... I made my own ring and my own 'rounds'... I 'finished' the top piece yesterday and really don't think that I want to continue the bracelet as 'advertised'  because that would put the bakelight 2 hole connectors on the sides of my very tiny wrist... so I guess I have the makings of two nearly identical bracelets.. I can use my ring as part of my closure and make a few more frosted purple 'beads'

Bead Table Wednesday (BTW)

I just got my copy of Jean Power's Geometric Beadwork in the mail late last week  this is a combination of her star bead and a triangular bead 'link'

Think the rest of the chain should alternate round and triangular  beaded links..... Not sure about colour since I know I don't have nearly enough of the purple beads and I have no clue where I bought them!

Happy Valentine's Day 2010

This is what I was inspired to make for Valentine's 2010... When I was in grade 2 everything I coloured was purple and red... I still think those two colours look great together!

And if you really love this piece it is for sale on etsy!
