Chandelier made from wine glasses... the light is a single bulb. Really a stunning fixture!
A more traditional use of a wine glass

Same bar as the chandelier... but the glasses they serve with their wine aren't pink.... |

A different bar.. this is actually a pub in Wales... My husband is cracking pistachio nuts with the iron window hardware.... I was hoping no-one was watching...
I was forced to make a crack to the effect that
'Monkey's can be trained to use tools....'

Hilarious- what a great post and welcome back. I was thinking of sending you an email since you missed a post or two. Absolutely love that chandelier.
What a fabulous chandelier. I have never seen one like that before. Sounds like a great trip.
That IS very cool. Are you sure they aren't rosé colored glasses? Just bein' silly. :)
Glad to see you back!
Love your choices for this project. Hands can be caught in a million poses! And that chandelier, what a find.
Fantastic chandelier!! But I also prefer the wine glass in my hand!!! :)
Great photos! I think those kind of fittings are called monkey-tails, so you're comment was spot on *grin*
that chandelier is just stunning! I did a double take when you said they were wine glasses. but you're right, you'd expect that all the glasses in the place would be rose colored? pretty nifty trick to crack the nuts with window ironwork .. something my hubby would do
That is a lovely chandelier. Will you be making one soon?
That is indeed some chandelier and hands obviously can find any tools to get what they want!
Awesome chandelier indeed! Love the glass of wine in your hubby's hands and the nut-cracking is just priceless!!
I think if I found a welder and some appropriate wine glasses it would actually be quite easy to make Patty and re John Lennon they are definitely rose coloured glasses.. although I think they are really peach!
I think I prefer the more usual use of the wine glass! Love the nut-cracking technique.

Gotta love that chandelier. What a unique idea. I prefer the more traditional way to use a wine glass though. *smile*
What a cool chandelier! I've seen pictures of other similar chandeliers but never seen one in person. Your husband using the window hardware "cracked" me up!
