Welcome to the 4th Bead Soup Party Reveal... there are 362 particpants from 5 continents and 21 countries... that's a lot of soup!
What I Received ! |
What the necklace looks like on a human, although there are family members that question the fact that I am human! I took this picture ..it's hard to keep a camera flat in a mirror.... |
The toggle got turned into earrings, since I had another one just like it and it was much to small for the finished necklace |
The necklace on a mini mannequin |
strand # 2 is free form peyote using blue nymo thread and any beads that I thought were even close to the right colour got incorporated into this strand!
strand #3 is kumihimo done with size 11 seed beads on sewing thread I think strand 3 took somewhere between 24 and 36 hours to do and after I was half done I really thought that one of the threads should have been blue beads .. but there was no way I was starting over!
What my partner Ann did with the beads I sent her is here (#288)
& here is a list of all the bead soup participants. (I'm number 23)

Love the necklace - stunning. Love what you did with the clasp, turning it into a pair of earrings - ingenious!
Just lovely! The beading must have taken you hours! I love the earrings - using the clasp like that is a great idea.
Wonderful creations!
Beautiful designs, I especially love the earrings.
Love the necklace Lynne and what a neat idea for the earrings I don't think I would have thought of it, clever girl!
Jackie
My favorite technique - freeform peyote! :) Had to pull up all the larger pics to take a closer look. The combination of the three strands really works. Lovely
And I love the toggles turned fishbone earrings - made me smile!
I love the layers you made on the necklace. Great idea of adding kumihimo to the necklace with the beads.
Great. Extremely creative use of the toggle too:) That necklace is really a showcase, not only of beads but of techniques.
Toggles for earrings! Wow, so creative! Love it!
What an idea to make the toggles into earrings!
I hope you can get your flight to Spain. And you are right, I am on the other side of the country.
If you get to come, enjoy! Barcelona is my favourite city in the world (maybe Cape Town goes alongside).
I love the earrings, very creative! I love kumihimo, very nice job.
what a lot of work - and it certainly looks great on a human! That focal really steals the show! Funky fun earrings too :)
Hi Lynn, I love what you did with your soup mix! I have been enjoying the glass hearts you sent me some time ago -- they have been made into some beautiful knitter's stitch marker/pendants.
Enjoy the hop,
Emanda

Great job, who would have thought of using clasps as earring components? Just wonderful.
What a clever way to use the toggle on those earrings! Great pieces!
The multi-strand necklace is lovely, and I really like the earrings made with 2 sets of toggles!
these are gorgeous! but the earrings are so funky-cool! love them!
very unique, great idea for the earrings
I am SO sorry for being late -- today our internet provider decided to crash. My stress level is through the roof, to say the least! They're still working on it, but it's like dial-up.
How really cool what you did with the earrings! And I love the intricacy of the necklace -- but it's not overpowering because there's not a craziness of colors. Well done!
I hope you'll participate again!
Love, Lori
What beautiful design work! Totally love what you came up with. Great job!
What a gorgeous necklace!! So much work too :) Love it! And using the toggle for earrings? Talk about original! Very cool!

Love the earrings! The necklace is cool too, but the earrings speak to me, say sweet nothings in my ears, and tell me how clever you are for using toggles like that.
What a show stopping long piece you have a made. I struggle with long necklaces. I love that you combined so many techniques in one.

Be Blessed to be a blessing
I love the multistrand necklace (so many techniques used in the same piece), but, wow, it certainly does look heavy. The idea to use the clasp for EARRINGS is win - what a coincidence you had a second one just like it around~!
Lovely!! The earrings are the most original use of a toggle I have ever seen :)
Very nicely done!
It turned out very nice. I like all the strands together. And the earrings out of the toogle are so cute. that's a very pretty toggle. Nice.
