Year 2 ~ Week One: The Minimalist Photograph

Welcome to Year 2 of Sally Rusicks Focus on Life adventures.

Week 1 The Minimalist Photograph....
A somewhat useless vase that sits in my new 'funky-shaped' kitchen window!

(the lip wrap has holes in it so it leaks like a sieve if you put water in it... plants are dried up pieces of a water plant,  Tried to take the picture in situ too much background junk, so it's sitting on the kitchen floor infront of my new cupboards!)

Oooo - I love the look of the water plant. It reminds me a bit of dried cacti that I use in vases here. Does it last a long time?

I love it! I love the color of the vase and those dried stems sticking out like live creatures.

What a fun vase! I especially like the colors and how the light shines off of it. Great capture.

Lovely photo of the vase, and I can empathize with the quest to find a "plain" background!

The bare plants really are a very good example of minimalist.

Such a cool photo. I really like the light and reflections on the vase, it looks a bit other-worldly.

Gorgeous! Love the light you've captured in that glass, and the colour contrast of the teal and wood.
