Ornament swap and hop...

If your looking for 'week 50'  ~Pops of Red..scroll down!

Another blog hop facilitated by Sally Russick... What would you have seen on this blog without her prompting this year?  VERY LITTLE!

My partner in the Swap was Paula Kramer (Cave Creek Beads) from Arizona... would love to be in Arizona today as it's offically COLD here!

Paula sent me two beaded ornaments  I should have photographed them separately ... a sparkly white beaded icicle  doesn't show up on a white background and a dark blue star doesn't show up on an open wire tree!

Ornaments hanging on the side of my photocube...

Ornaments straddling a beaded ball that my mother bought in India years ago.... (the icicle is trying to spin... so wouldn't focus!)

Almost in focus together on the tree.. Aren't the pretty?

The ornament I sent her.

My computer decided to be helpful and changed what I originally wrote which was 'Two lovely beaded ornaments" to "Two Love Beads"... sorry computer I did notice your attempt to hijack my post!

Too see all the other handmade ornaments follow the links below!

Oh, how I love the beaded ornaments! That swirl rope is my all time favorite, especially in its pearly white with a pop of color at the bottom! Fabulous! Love the ornament you made her - the wire frame is genius, and the touch of holly on the side makes it perfection! Merry Christmas!

Paula does beautiful work I have always been a big fan of her bead weaving. The two ornaments that she sent to you are gorgeous! The ornament that you sent to her is beautiful with the pretty little lighthouse hanging in the middle.

Hi Lynne, the ornaments look very festive in their new home. Just wanted to mention that the artbead on the icicle is by Sue Beads who is also participating in the swap. I wonder if she will recognize her creation? Thanks for being such a terrific swap partner!

So pretty! It's such fun seeing Paula's ornaments hanging on your wire tree.

And the ornament you sent is so perfect from you. Your enamel work is such fun and the lighthouse would make me smile and think of you on your island every time I saw it.

Both of Paula's ornaments are beautiful. I like your wire tree. It is so fitting that you made a lighthouse ornament.
