It looks the equipment is patiently sitting there waiting for the fishing men to put them in action again.
Love those colourful lobster traps against the fall background; very cool!
Very cool industrial photos and even better since they are part of your local industry. Perfect!
LOVE these pics! I grew up in a small fishing town on the coast of Oregon ... so these are all very familiar to me and bring back lots of memories! thanks for that :)
Great photos!!Funny how something so ordinary can be beautiful. I can only imagine the beehive of activity at the start of the season.
Great shot of that chain. Caught my jewelry making eye right away...but a little large!
Lynn you found a great way to showcase your islands industry.I have never lived near an ocean so this is a part of life I have not seen before. The lobster traps photo was my favorite.
Very cool pictures Lynn...while I don't live on the beach...wish I did....I am familiar with fishing items having visited the beaches around here. I have to admire the fishermen as to me it seems like it would be a really hard job! Thanks for the post.
Mmmm, lobster and scallops.
Oh,....lobster - yummy! Great shots for this week's prompt. I like the middle one - it looks very rugged and interesting to me.
Someday I have to have fresh lobster from your corner of the world. I've never been east of Montreal, it's a crime I know. I love the contrast of the different pictures. I would have only been able to recognize those lobster traps.
Great photos this week! It was a tough prompt, wasn't it??
Very cool photos! You live in a beautiful place and I'd love to see those things every day.
Wow, great shots I wouldn't even think of that as industry but it is, thanks for sharing!
