To see how other people interpreted Sally's prompt check on the following links!
It looks the equipment is patiently sitting there waiting for the fishing men to put them in action again.
ReplyDeleteLove those colourful lobster traps against the fall background; very cool!
ReplyDeleteVery cool industrial photos and even better since they are part of your local industry. Perfect!
ReplyDeleteLOVE these pics! I grew up in a small fishing town on the coast of Oregon ... so these are all very familiar to me and bring back lots of memories! thanks for that :)
ReplyDeleteGreat photos!!Funny how something so ordinary can be beautiful. I can only imagine the beehive of activity at the start of the season.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot of that chain. Caught my jewelry making eye right away...but a little large!
ReplyDeleteLynn you found a great way to showcase your islands industry.I have never lived near an ocean so this is a part of life I have not seen before. The lobster traps photo was my favorite.
ReplyDeleteVery cool pictures Lynn...while I don't live on the beach...wish I did....I am familiar with fishing items having visited the beaches around here. I have to admire the fishermen as to me it seems like it would be a really hard job! Thanks for the post.
ReplyDeleteMmmm, lobster and scallops.
ReplyDeleteOh,....lobster - yummy! Great shots for this week's prompt. I like the middle one - it looks very rugged and interesting to me.
ReplyDeleteSomeday I have to have fresh lobster from your corner of the world. I've never been east of Montreal, it's a crime I know. I love the contrast of the different pictures. I would have only been able to recognize those lobster traps.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos this week! It was a tough prompt, wasn't it??
ReplyDeleteVery cool photos! You live in a beautiful place and I'd love to see those things every day.
ReplyDeleteWow, great shots I wouldn't even think of that as industry but it is, thanks for sharing!
